- Kentaro Ito's work in theatre with varios production companies in the early 90s paved the way for him to become a voice actor.
- Kentaro Ito is a long-time fan of Renji, and he was quite impressed with the launch of Bleach in Shonen Jump, as he felt it wa different from any serialized title that came before it.
- While preparing for his role inas Jin Tadokoro in Yowamushi Pedal, Ito-san took up cycling to improve his performance as the character, and it has turned into a daily routine for him.
