Japanese Village
Your bucket list trip to Tokyo and Kyoto has been brought to you in Abu Dhabi! The Japanese Village is a new feature that will cater to the otakus, samurais and idols that are looking to experience a mix of traditional and modern Japanese activities, bringing a true Japanese pop culture experience to MEFCC.
What You Can Expect
Traditional Experiences
Take in a pure cultural experience of Japan with a variety of activities, including Yukata try-outs and photoshoots, Origami workshops, Japanese Calligraphy, Shuriken practice and much more.
Kabuki Stage
Think of an Entertainment district, but all on one circle stage. The Kabuki Stage brings a variety of Japanese performances and dances, as well as karaoke challenges and sing-a-longs.
Otaku Lane
The Akihabara of the Japanese Village. Figures, plushies, TCGs, gunpla kits and gatcha capsules make up the sweetest merch and goodies being offered at the Otaku Lane, with some cool exclusives too.
Cosplay Corner
Propel your cosplay experience with a Japanese twist, including Meet & Greets with our guest Pro-Cosplayers, Cosplay Repair Stations, a variety of Cosplay Photo-ops, and mini-cosplay performances.
